ABOUT PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

As a social worker, i apply my professional application of social work values, principles, and techniques to one or more of the following ends such as helping people obtain tangible services; counselling and psychotherapy with individuals, families, and groups; helping communities or groups.

ABOUT INTER-PROFESSIONALISM

Interprofessionalism is required in the practice of social work, as education is important as when two or more students from two or more professions in health and social care learn together during all or part of their professional training with the object of using collaborative practice. I have been required to partake in courses that require experiential learning opportunities where students like myself interact with interprofessional health care teams. It has made me learn to collaborate with others, and learn the patient centred care with the emphasis on team interaction, communication, service leaning and evidence based practice with the quality of improvement.

ABOUT ETHICAL PRACTICE

Social workers such as myself work honestly, responsibly and promote ethical practices on the part of the organisations with which I am affiliated with. Additionally, value, competence, ethical principle, are very important in the career path that I have undertaken which is social workers practices within the areas in which I am competent in and to also develop and enhance my professional expertise in the child protection.

According to the AERA (American Educational Research association), the grant programs encourages the use of major data sets from multiple and diverse sources. It emphasises the advanced statistical analysis of data sets from the major departmental institutes and governmental bodies. The large scale benefits the governmental support.  Its is important to note that from the experience of that our institution that my group and I proposed reinforce   what we do which is delivering activities to young individuals and engaging them in decision making and participation and helping them be involved. In the design and implantation of various programs in the Fairfield area. I believe that our knowledge and familiarity of the different governmental bodies will help enhance our project as we have the knowledge and are a familiar with the requirements as our team recognises that young people can also be leaders for tomorrow, and so we provide activities and opportunities encouraging young people to learn about.

Professional self Concept.

I believe that a comprehensive and inclusive sex education classes should not be compulsory to take from Kindergarten but should be more incorporated into the subjects that we take at school such as PE, Science, Religion. It is important to know about the subject than not know it. That is one of the huge controversies one in many cultures have a lot of discussions and is considered a Taboo, which leaves a lot of questions for the child and the parents themselves to discuss in private if they feel they need to. I believe it may be beneficial to learn about this in high school to reduce unintentional pregnancies, programs such as these should be considered a part of the curriculum.
