Hello, my name is Masood, welcome to my blog which is all about social work. I’ve been a child protection social worker for a number of years now. I am currently an agency social worker as it allows me to take time off to go travel to various destinations around the world.

Over the years I have struggled to get the information that I wanted about social work. The aim of my blog is to help others  with similar or different questions to what I had when I have not known the answers.

My intention is to provide an honest account of being a social worker for those interested in making a career out of it or for those who are just starting their career. Whilst I honestly think it can be one of the most rewarding jobs out there, it can also be one of the most challenging.
